Custom-made barrels

At Tonnellerie Remond, exceptional barrels are made exclusively to order and customized for each client: a wide range of possibilities and a perfect balance between tradition and innovation await them. The barrels are created to measure, from three ranges, with different capacities and dimensions.

Their six formats range from 114-liter "feuillettes" to 500-liter "demi-muids," including the classic 225-liter and 228-liter barrels. These different volumes allow for precise modulation of the extraction of wood aromas depending on the type of wine and optimize the aging process, thus enhancing the specific characteristics of each grape variety and terroir. Customization includes wood hoops, the bung hole, and the logo.

The oak wood used is rigorously selected from the most reputable forests, then dried, toasted, and crafted according to the rules of the art to ensure optimal aging of wines and spirits.

The greatest care is taken with each aging barrel that leaves the workshops, guaranteeing impeccable quality.

The philosophy of Tonnellerie Remond leads to a constant questioning of processes and a tireless quest for the best at every stage of manufacturing.
