A cooperage rooted in Burgundy

Location

Nestled in a rolling landscape, Tonnellerie Remond is anchored in the heart of the small village of Ladoix-Serrigny, sheltered by the Corton hill.

Legendary in Burgundy, this hill retains the mists and maintains a high level of humidity.

The location of Tonnellerie Remond in the heart of the Côte de Beaune’s grand crus territory provides particularly favorable climatic and geographic conditions for the natural drying and maturation of wood, with humid winters and mild summers.

It also places the cooperage close to some of its clients, at the heart of Burgundy’s rich wine ecosystem.

Tonnellerie Remond employs around thirty highly skilled craftsmen, who have inherited their unique expertise from previous generations.

Committed to local employment, the cooperage also strives to uphold eco-responsibility values.

Our Expertise

The expertise of this Burgundy cooperage is prized by the most prestigious and demanding vineyards, both in France and abroad.

The toasting process is the most decisive for the aromatic signature of the barrels.

Each custom-made barrel produced in the cooperage’s workshops is an exceptional piece, offering a unique profile designed to enhance the wines of its clients.
